Important documents such as notices of termination or contracts must often be handed over in person or delivered by messenger so that they reach the recipient's area of disposal.
For legally secure delivery, it is necessary according to most established case law that the messenger can act as a witness and documents the delivery accordingly (see LAG Mecklenburg-Vorpommern dated 12.03.2019, ref. 2 Sa 139/18 as well as BGH, judgment dated 27.09.2016, ref. The shipment is insured up to 8,33 SDR/kg gross weight each. This corresponds to about 10,- EUR/kg gross weight. Per case of damage, our direct transports are covered up to 2.500.000 EUR. We can also offer you a higher insurance cover. The costs for this depend on the type of goods. For most of the higher value goods the costs are only 0,20825% of the value of the goods (plus VAT), a value of 30.000 EUR can be insured for 62,48 EUR net.
